We are always looking for new ways to collaborate with NGO’s and educators. Here are several ways you can collaborate with GVL:
I: Pre-developed lesson plans
These lesson plans focus on teaching human rights concepts embodied within the Convention on the Rights of the Child and basic video production skills.
Lesson plans include explanations of concepts for the educator, timed activities, and a series of video modules.
II: Consultation and development
Our experienced curriculum developers work with you to create lesson plans specific to your students, their community, and your educational needs.
III: Visiting Educators and Youth Media Curriculum
Representatives will come to your school or NGO, train your faculty on youth media education, and model the teaching of our lesson plans. We will also work with you to develop new lesson plans specific to your community and needs.
IV: Video Letter/Media Advocacy
GVL Team will come to your Community to work with local NGO’s and youth to create a short form documentary/media advocacy piece.
V: Funding
We rely on donations, grants and the purchase of our lesson plans and consultation. If you would like to fund the next Video Letter Project, or simply donate a camera, we look forward to hearing from you.
